The Sensory Experience Project was a part of the Multimedia class in May 2005. The 1st movie will allow users to explore the 'taste & smell' sense. The emphasis of the project was to create an "experience" or "impression" of the sense rather than imparting scientific data. This part of project allowed us to choose a single type of food to help focus the scope of the movie that conveyed various quality of that food such as, flavor, texture, color, smell, etc. It also required us to use Flash's drawing tools.

The 2nd movie conveys sense of 'vision' through animation techniques. We were able to portray a specific animal's perspective (human, bird, insect, etc.) or explore 'sight' as an abstract concept. In this case, 'imaginary vision.'

The 3rd movie conveys the senses of
' touch and hearing ' through the use of
interactivity and sound, and experiments
with visual elements.
